INTRODUCING... LUNA

We receive many many requests to help dogs in the UK and Luna is just one of them.

Luna was understandably a little unsure when she arrived at PJ - after all, its a big change to go from a house, to a kennel. However, after only her second night, she came out of her kennel with a wagging tail and an excited bark - all was well.

Luna has made friends with other dogs and has become more confident. She is enjoying her regular exercise with her friends and we think she would benefit from being rehomed somewhere with another dog. She is receiving lots of love while she waits for a new home but we would love to see her in a house again.

Luna is only about 4 years old. She does have a nervousness around unfamiliar places and people and because of this, she takes a little time to feel safe and secure. In the past, Luna has not been happy around young people - it is likely that the noise, fast movements and unpredictability of children, frighten her.

Luna is good on a lead although she would prefer quiet walks with a routine to help her confidence. A quieter home would also be preferred and another dog in the home could offer reassurance and help Luna settle (but not necessarily essential). She is a really sweet little girl who is friendly and very affectionate once she knows you. Luna is not a big dog - she is petite framed and maybe 10kg-ish!

Luna needs a confident , kind and gentle handler. She is not confident enough to be off lead in a public place so we would like her adopter to have a garden where she can relax and play off lead. Luna loves a snuggle so a prospective adopter needs to enjoy snuggle time too!

If you come and meet Luna, bring a treat as it might help her be less shy!
