DIANA arrived recently from a shelter in Bosnia and although she was a little bewildered initially, she soon bonded with the PJ volunteers and has settled in really well and is enjoying the tranquillity and freedom that the sanctuary offers.
Diana is an amazing companion if you enjoy walking and she is the kind of lady who likes her peace so she won’t be bouncing about and pulling you in every direction. If she is being walked alongside other dog friends, then she might speed up in order to keep up with her friends but, when she is just with her human, she enjoys a leisurely stroll. Diana prefers quiet walks away from crowds and busy places so she is really a dog for the country rather than the town. She is undemanding and happy to just sit and have a chat, have a cuddle, or have a long gentle walk. She does, of course, have her moments of being playful and she isn’t too old to want to have a little run occasionally too! She is a happy girl with a beautiful smile and she cheekily gives her paw in the hope of a tasty reward – however, those treats need limiting because this little ladies waistline is wide enough!
Diana is a quiet, gentle and amiable soul who is looking for her forever retirement home – she is far from retired herself, but she doesn’t like young annoying dogs or loud annoying children. Diana is looking for a gentle calm home where she can soak up the love, peace and cuddles. Diana gets on well with other quiet calm dogs but would equally be happy as an only pet although she would like her human(s) to be home most of the
time. Diana has not been cat tested.
This smiling happy lady was born in around 2011 and moved to the shelter when she was just 5 years old. After spending so long in the shelter in Bosnia and being overlooked for adoption, her previous carers have worked
extremely hard to socialise her and make her home ready. After a tearful farewell in Bosnia, their dream came true when Diana arrived at PJ – however, we always want more... Is there anyone reading this who can offer beautiful Diana a home and make the shelter workers, the whole of the PJ team and of course Diana, the happiest dog ever?!
Diana is available for adoption and full details about adopting an animal from PJ can be found on our website (or, if you are reading this via Facebook, you can follow the link below).
